Remote Renewable Energy Sites
Data Center & Infrastructure Modernization
Expanding and standardizing the software-defined data center footprint across multiple facilities.
VMware/Nutanix SDDC Expansion
Significantly expanded the Software-Defined Data Center footprint with the addition of 21 hosts across critical server clusters, along with a Pure Storage expansion. Deployment involved both remote and on-site work with dedicated project management, change management, architectural, and engineering resources across multiple facilities.
CommVault Backup & RHEL Standardization
Deployed CommVault Physical Media Agents in data centers in Chicago and Washington, DC, and onboarded all associated Virtual Machines into the backup systems. Implemented RHEL 7 to corporate Linux standards across 300+ VMs with over 2,500 touch points — completed with zero outages. Also executed a NetApp Storage Array shelf addition to support growing capacity demands.
Cisco ISE Network Access Control
Deployed Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) Virtual Machines to enable identity-based network access control, enforcing security policies across the enterprise network.
Critical System & Disaster Recovery
Upgrading mission-critical Oracle systems and validating disaster recovery capabilities.
Oracle Critical System Upgrade
Deployed RHEL 8 Virtual Machines into new SDDC environments to support a major Oracle system upgrade. The comprehensive rollout spanned non-production environments (Sandbox, Training, Development, Test) and production, including deployment and configuration of the core application platform, WebLogic, Oracle 19c (both Standalone and 2-Node RAC configurations), and multiple supporting system applications.
Disaster Recovery Exercise
Prepared for and participated in a major disaster recovery exercise, which included deploying and configuring RHEL VMs for BIND DNS services to respond to operational gaps. Successfully demonstrated the ability to recover a site while core DNS services were offline. Implemented Zerto VMs and zVRAs (Virtual Replication Appliances) for continuous replication and near-instant failover.
Remote Substation & Renewables Technology
Deploying monitoring and infrastructure at remote wind and solar generation sites.
Remote Substation Monitoring (ESD)
Implemented remote environmental and security monitoring capabilities at substations, enabling centralized visibility into conditions at remote and unmanned facilities.
Wind & Solar Farm Deployments
Executed six remote substation deployments across wind and solar farms. Each deployment included full change management processes and physical on-site deployment activities at generation facilities across multiple states.
